Pro Bowl All-Star Block Party Waikiki Featuring Steve Aoki & BQ Girls

On Saturday night, Waikiki comes alive with Hawai'i's biggest party, including seven stages of headline entertainment and over 100 food and craft tents.

Stage 1 • Pro Bowl All-Star Sports Show

The NFL Network will set the stage for the 2013 NFL Pro Bowl with a live production outside Wolfgang's Steakhouse. Join Hawai'i's NFL Greats, NFL Legends and players from the 2013 Pro Bowl, together with Marshall Faulk, Fran Charles, and a special performance from hit sensation, BQ Girls.

Hall of Famer Marshall Faulk played in the NFL for twelve seasons. Faulk is one of only three NFL players (Marcus Allen and Tiki Barber being the others) to reach at least 10,000 rushing yards and 5,000 receiving yards; he is the only one to amass 12,000 yards rushing and 6,000 yards
receiving. He was elected to the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2011. He is currently a pro football analyst for NFL Total Access, Thursday Night Football, and NFL GameDay Morning on the NFL Network.

Fran Charles joined NFL Network at the start of the 2006 season and is a host for various live studio programs and events. This season, Charles joins Steve Mariucci, Deion Sanders and Michael Irvin on NFL GameDay Final to put a bow on all of Sunday's action with the latest highlights, interviews and analysis from each game. During the week, Charles delivers
the latest news on Around the League with Heath Evans and Michael Lombardi, debating and discussing all the late-breaking headlines straight from the team facilities.

The newest international girl sensation, the BQ Girls, are the world's first beauty queen pop and R&B group. Bringing together some of the hottest and most talented women from around the world, the BQ Girls are ready to bring a global edge to classic pop and R&B sounds. The
quartet combines the Caribbean beats of Wendy, a former Miss Universe; the soulful voice of former Miss USA C-Cool; the bouncy spirit of teen queen Lil Bit; and the exotic rhythm of Asia's newest talent, Yi Na. All four BQ Girls have competed under Donald Trump's beauty empire, the Miss Universe Organization, and are widely recognized in their home states and
countries for their star power and talent.

The 2012 overall winners of the Merrie Monarch Festival perform Hula kahiko, Hawai'i's traditional dance form. Hälau o ke 'A'ali'i Kü Makani hälau (school) is led by Kumu Hula Manu Boyd, Royal Hawaiian Center Cultural Director.
Live from the Royal Hawaiian Theater, Legends In Concert is a world-class production of tribute actors representing such musical legends as Elvis, Madonna, Michael Jackson and more. Legends In Concert Rock-a-Hula perform nightly (except Monday) at Royal Hawaiian Center.
Malu's performance includes music and dance of Hawai'i, Sämoa and Tahiti as well as Hawaiian hula 'auana which is hula's modern form performed to singing and instrumental music. The Sämoan fire knife dance will feature five-time world champion keiki (children's) division
Hale Motuapuaka. From Tahiti, enjoy lively 'öte'a drum dances. Malu Productions performs regularly at Royal Hawaiian Center as the Hawaiian ensemble, Nanea.
Singer-songwriter Mailani Maka'ina'i started singing at the age of two and taught herself ukulele while in high school. It was at Maryknoll Schools that she met Lei Melket, with whom she later formed Keahiwai, one of the most popular female duos in Hawai'i.
Mike Kahikina leads this island contemporary band of Honolulu Police Department officers whose energetic performances are enjoyed at the Royal Hawaiian Center and throughout the community.
Bobby Moderow leads this trio who brings renewed energy and appeal to Hawaiian classics and great originals. This multi-Nä Hökü Hanohano winning group recently joined the regular performance line-up at the Royal Hawaiian Center. This award-winning trio also includes Kahi Ka'önohi and Richard Gideon.

Stage 3 • Special Olympics Live Auction
Facing the International Marketplace

Stage 3 will feature a live auction of rare NFL memorabilia, benefitting the Special Olympics of Hawai'i. Items will include footballs, jerseys, helmets and other collectables signed by Pro Bowl and marquee NFL players and alumni. 100% of the proceeds benefit Special Olympics of Hawai'i.

"The Boys From Maui," Maoli are back and this time their new CD release entitled, "Arise" is destined for national appeal and worldwide attention. Maoli, (Nominees of the "Hawaiian Music Awards" and the Na Hoku Hanohano Music Awards) have returned and their new radio hit, "Blew
It," is the precursor release from their 3rd album project, entitled, "Arise." Maoli first took the islands by storm back in 2007 with their debut CD entitled, "Groovin." With one hit after the next, ("No One," "Write Me A Letter," "So Incredible,") this was the groundbreaking album with that first established the group as a premiere Hawaiian Island Reggae recording artist. In 2009, Maoli did it again with their 2nd release, "Rock Easy." With another treasure trove of #1 hits ("Breaking My Heart," "Whisper," "Rock Easy,") Maoli's road to success continued as they toured the islands and the world promoting their very own unique Island sound. Now in 2012,
the boys are proud to release their 3rd CD, "Arise." Full of original songs (penned by the band's founder and leader Glenn Awong), "Arise" will keep Maoli fans coming back while establishing new ones.

has been together since June of 2008 and recently had the opportunity to share the stage with some of the BIGGEST NAMES in the music industry like - BoyZ II Men, Midnight Star, Brian McKnight, Klymaxx, and El Debarge just to name a few. First CD was released in October 2009 - "Press Play" incorporates a little bit of old school vibe blended with just the right touch
of island feel, 13 originals and 2 cover songs. "From reggae to R&B, from soul ballads to old school ... we do it all. If there were one thing that we all have in common - it would be the LOVE for MUSIC".

Bandleader "Kelly Boy" DeLima is one of Hawai'i's hardest working bands, and Kelly Boy is certainly one of the state's most talented Ukulele virtuoso's. Their sound has been crafted sine their early days in the late 80's as Hawai'i tuned in to the new sounds of 'Jawaiian music' that blends the best of Hawai'i and Jamaican Reggae. Over the years Kapena has honed their distinctive sound to become one of Hawai'i's top acts and audiences all over the world from Seattle to Shanghai have felt the energy of their red hot performances.

The primary performing group for the Air Force Band of the Pacific-Hawai'i is the 10-piece popular music ensemble, Hana Hou. Their shows and concerts have delighted military and civilian audiences throughout Hawai'i and the Pacific. The band also spotlights their Jazz combos and Individual musicians, bringing forth a wide variety of sounds for concert and protocol events. Outstanding vocalists and bugler add a touch of class to military ceremonies throughout the islands. This 10-piece detachment has a unique mission in our Air Force and are the only military
band that performs Hawaiian and island music along with a wide breadth of pop, rock, jazz combo and nearly everything in between.
The White Jacket is an American rock band from Honolulu, Hawai'i. The band was formed in 2010 by vocalist Joe Baiera and guitarist Dustin Dobos, long-time friends and musical collaborators who relocated to Hawai'i from their home state of Ohio earlier that year. The White Jacket has performed on a number of Oahu stages and the band plays regularly at Waikiki's hottest nightclubs and bars. The White Jacket's orginal songs and true to the original covers make them a popular band for rock fans and partygoers alike.
Michael McGraw and Tom Gierman formed The Piranha Brothers Band in Chicago in 1977 and shortly after were contracted to perform in Honolulu at the legendary 'Lucky Pierre's' nightclub. The Piranha Brothers instantly developed a following and returned many times in the early 80's until finally deciding to make Honolulu their home base. Over the years they have opened many rock concerts… recorded albums of original music… and rocked crowds at Hawai'i's top festivals. Somehow last year they took time in between a 350-gig year to make a fine piece of original
work. The Blinding Speed of Trust is the high water mark of their creative career together. The album features the stellar guitar work of our three regular band mates, Stephen Inglis, Jason Nobriga, and David Watanabe. Several other fine Honolulu-based musicians adorn the work with violin, mandolin, grand and electric piano, organ, pedal steel guitar, dobro, even a concertina… and a bicycle horn in there somewhere.

Royal Hawaiian Center Beer & Wine Garden
The Royal Hawaiian Center is hosting a benefit for the Visitor Aloha Society of Hawai'i (VASH) during the All-Star Block Party. The Beer & Wine Garden is open from 6:00pm-10:00pm.
Admission is FREE and photo ID will be required for anyone wishing to drink.
Established by King Kamehameha III in 1836, the Royal Hawaiian Band is the only official municipal band in the United States and performs Hawaiian, classical, pop, and more. The 40-member ensemble is led by Bandmaster Clarke Bright. The band performs the first and third Thursday of the month at Royal Hawaiian Center.
Popular local DJ "Min-One" will spin out the beats at the Beer & Wine Garden until 10:00pm. Emcee "Spike on the Mic" will host proceedings.

Mark Yamanaka of Hilo, Hawai'I has been performing Hawaiian Music for 20 years. He has performed with so many of Hawai'i's celebrated artists such as Kumu Hula Johnny Lum Ho, Na Palapalai, Darren Benitez, and many more. Mark finally came out into the Hawaiian music scene in November of 2010 with the release of his long awaited debut solo album entitled "Lei Pua Kenikeni". This album was celebrated at the 2011 Na Hoku Hanohano Awards taking home 4 big awards that put him aside Hawaiian Music greats Keali'i Reichel and Willie K. On his debut solo effort, Mark took home the coveted Album Of the Year, Male Vocalist of the Year, Song of the Year (Kaleoonalani), and Most Promising Artist of the Year. This recognition has sparked a following throughout Hawai'i, and an even larger following in Japan, where Mark travels several times a year. Mark is currently working on his follow up CD which will be released sometime
this Summer 2013.
The Dukes of Surf are a sunny Aloha Rock band based in Honolulu, Hawai'i. Founding members JP, Lee and Fish (JP's cousin) all grew up in different beach towns across the USA. JP is from Honolulu, Hawai'i, LEE is from West Palm Beach, Florida and FISH is from Santa Cruz, California.
They share a common love for the beach lifestyle, girls, and the music that takes you back to the golden days of surf…the days when it all began on the beaches of the islands. It's a fresh take on a classic sound, and very unique for this day in time. So kickback and relive the memories
of yesteryear, or heck, create some new ones with The Dukes of Surf. The Dukes of Surf have also been working in Japan and have opened for several popular Japanese artists.
Formed in 1973, Kalapana is one of Hawai'i's most famous & iconic bands to emerge in the international music scene. Kalapana continues to be the symbol of inspiration and positive direction for Contemporary Hawaiian music and musicians today. Although they tour extensively… their popularity in Japan has kept them flying back and forth for performances
for many years and they have released a number of popular CD's in the Japan market over the years. They are known for their songs "Naturally", "The Hurt" and many more. Kalapana continues to tour and record in Japan and the West Coast.

California with names like the Pickle Patch, Banana Split and the 10 year strong Dim Mak Tuesday party which has seen legendary debut performances from acts ranging from Lady Gaga to Skrillex, M.I.A, Kid Cudi, The Bloody Beetroots, Boys Noize and Justice. As a DJ, Aoki averages nearly 250 shows a year throughout the world playing to millions of fans. As a remixer he's worked with everyone from Duran Duran to Michael Jackson, The Killers and Weezer.
